Test and Presentation for Economics

As you know, for my latest Economics Test, I had them complete a written long answer part (50%).  The students were given a long answer question pool (6 questions) a week in advance.  On the test day, they were given 5 questions and told to choose 4 to complete.  These questions were very involved and required ALL of class to complete.  The days that followed (2 classes), the students needed to find 2 newspaper articles and summarize each (orally).  They also needed to state exactly how they directly related to theory discussed in class.  This presentation part (50%) had a time restraint.  It could only be between 2 and 4 minutes.  The rubric for the presentations was also given to the students the week before the test.    S.F.

** presently half way through presentations- all very good -
